Making sure each resident enjoys everyday living
The Therapeutic Recreation Department provides programs to enhance the physical, cognitive, social, spiritual, emotional, and intellectual development of all residents at Queens Boulevard Extended Care Facility. Activities include a wide variety of programs including the following:
- Trips
- Exercise
- Adult Education
- Social Clubs
- Arts and Crafts
- Special Events
- Musical Entertainment
- And more
Our team meets our residents on an individual basis, and motivational rounds are done daily with sensory visits for cognitively impaired residents. The Therapeutic Recreation Department offers programs seven days a week, helping each resident make the most out of everyday living.
